Born in 1993 Jato Garments now has over 250 employees, with a factory in Noida, near New Delhi, it creates sophisticated hand embroidery thanks to the different embroidery techniques ranging from the ancient Zardosi to the better known Ari. In addition to embroidery, there are pattern-making, cutting, packaging, quality control and logistics departments. The Indian office was born from the need to directly control the embroidery and hand-crafted supply chain, and from the importance of starting a large-scale production that would keep the craftsmanship and high quality intact.
